Sometimes in life you pour yourself into the ones you love. And in that process, no matter how good it is, you lose yourself a little bit. That’s when it’s time to do something for yourself and find out how truly beautiful you are inside and out. That’s what Ms. A’s boudoir session was all about for her. Read on to hear her story.

Tell us your story, a little bit about you and why you decided to do a boudoir session? Is your story what made you decide to do this for yourself?

I’m a wife and mother of two very active boys (9yrs old and 5yrs old)who also happen to race motocross. Everything I do is for them. I spend countless hours in a race trailer, at a track, or running around for them. I was up one night packing for another race and seen MelissaLee’s FB post about boudoir pictures and thought why not. I haven’t felt beautiful inside and out in a while and decided I was over due.

What was your biggest concern prior to booking your Boudoir Session? How do you feel now?

If it was worth it. Was the cost worth it because i was concerned my pictures wouldn’t turn out because there was something wrong with me. Now I don’t honestly even care if they turn out because I feel beautiful inside and out no matter what the pictures show.

What, specifically, did you enjoy most about your portrait session and why?

The part I enjoyed the most was that I could be anyone in the pictures. Not just a mom or wife but someone unknown, mysterious, seductive but classy.

Were you comfortable during your session? How did I make you feel? Did my posing instruction help you feel more confident?

Yes I was completely comfortable. You made me feel confident and adventuress and the posing helped tremendously.

What did this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Did you discover anything about yourself that you didn’t know was there or that you forgot was there? How has your boudoir experience affected you or changed you? Tell me your story.

I truly forgot how much I don’t care what others think. I needed a reminder that I’m me and if someone doesn’t like how I look they can take a hike.

What advice would you give someone who is nervous about or hesitant to book their own boudoir experience with me?

I’d ask them when was the last time you felt truly beautiful inside and out for nobody but yourself?
