The biggest business risk I took was when… it was time to go full time in photography.
Sometimes we have to choose to play it safe or take a risk.
I choose to get out of my comfort zone. (Really God handed me the opportunity in a very weird (long story) way.)
I decided to take the risk because being a full time photographer is what I have wanted to do since I graduated college. And I decided if not now then never. To be honest with you, it wasn’t easy. And it definitely is super scary too. There are times when it feels overwhelming and scary. Where it seems like things are going wrong and going against me. And I felt really freaked out and wanting to hide from it all but I am determined to make it happen.
So what happened after that?
Well, a few things happened after I the risk to go full time in photography.
I have never been this happy with my day to day routine.
I love being able to work towards my goals and dreams, not someone else’s.
I get the opportunity to schedule my days how I want and do the extra activities that I didn’t have time for before.
I am my own boss! I mean seriously, how cool is that?!
And you know what? These things are all aiding in living a full and happy life. It’s also giving me the opportunity to uplift and empower tons of women around Minnesota (and soon the world). I’m creating a life and community that is all about caring and loving on one another. It’s also giving women the opportunity to learn and grow in their self confidence.
The reason I’m sharing this with you today is that I want you to know that big dreams take a lot of work, and often requires us to push ourselves past our comfort zone. If I can do this, so can you!
So, the biggest business risk I took was just finally going for it and living life on purpose.
Is there a risk you’ve taken in the past or thinking about taking now that requires you to push yourself outside of your comfort zone? Let’s do this together!
